UI Design : Computer Zargon

It was an Ecommerce site designed to serve as a one stop shop for computer hardwares/peripherals/softwares. The product database consisted of 50000 plus products listing, and vendors/customers across US could directly buy any of the available products from the site. This project was carried out as part of my job in Roy Infosoft now Infotronicx Pvt. Ltd. As the chief UI designer had to look over all the aspects of the project including , IA, visual design, Usability.

The site required extensive analysis of e-commerce websites/portals, developing a information architecture of various sections of the site to be developed, creation of user profiles & personas, analysing its various task flows and back end processes that would occur. And finally create an appropriate User interface binding all the various sections of the shopping site.

The project was divided into 4 modules according to its work nature. They were:
1). Requirements Analysis 2). Task Analysis/Modeling 3). Development Process 4). Testing & Deployment Process
